Amy J. DeLaney, 83, formerly of Middleburg, passed away Thursday, March 8, 2012 in the Friendship Village of Columbus.
She was born September 28, 1928 in Cable, Ohio the daughter of George Washington and Marybelle (Mason) Wayman.
Amy is survived by her daughter, Peggy Krutsch of Columbus, Ohio; grandchildren, Christina (Kermit) Nelson, Stacy (Nick) Iaobucci and Monica Krutsch all of Columbus; great grandchildren, Brittany and Kaitlyn Milburn, Michael Keating, Chelsea Cox, Hannah Krutsch and Kaleb Johnson; sister, Julia Diane (Dwight) Dunham of Urbana; brother, James (Judy) Wayman of Urbana; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Warren DeLaney in 2000; son, David; granddaughter, Ashley Milburn; sisters, Dorothy and Lucille; brothers, Frank, Delbert and George.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 2-5 p.m. on Sunday, March 11, 2012 in the Freshwater, McDonald & Vernon Funeral Home, North Lewisburg. Eastern Star services will be held at 5 p.m. led by the Caroline Chapter #39. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, March 12, 2012 in the funeral home with Pastor Seeyong Lee officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, North Lewisburg.
