I remember when Barbara started attending New Life Christian Church in Cable. I was the pastor then, and I found her to be such an encourager. We had many good times of fellowship sharing about our love for the Lord Jesus Christ and our love for His Word. And there was always a lot of laughter when we got together. Her sense of humor was contagious. When I moved to a new church in Pennsylvania, we continued to talk and pray over the phone. She had a deep love for Dick and her family. I will miss her. While we were saying, "Barb has gone home", Jesus was saying, "Barb, welcome home." Good bye dear sister in Christ. Our memories of you continue to impact our lives.

She was a very strong women. I always wanted to be like her. I remember going to her house when I was little, she had cat eye glasses with diamonds around and red hair and I thought, wow I hope I'm like her and not dad lol. She had a fire about her and you knew where you stood. I loved her and will miss her a lot.

My Aunt Barb was a strong woman with a tough exterior but a heart of gold. I have many wonderful memories of her. Memories of her and daddy dancing the jitterbug still make me smile.. She taught me many things growing up, but one of her most important lessons was that “A woman’s strength and beauty come from within“, “from the heart.” She had this amazing smile and knew how to love unconditionally. I know she has her wings 😇 and is high above the clouds with our Lord, celebrating her homecoming with Joanna, Daddy, Gramma, Dallas, Ray, Betty....I will miss you but I won’t forget or stop loving you 🌹 Love Diantha

My condolences on the passing of the sweet soul that was Barb. She used to babysit my siblings and I before and after school and I have great memories of being at her house. She also groomed our dog, so I remember just sitting and having great conversations with her while she took the best care of our pet. Many prayers of comfort to her family in the memories shared with her.
