Bennie Spencer, 63, of Miamisburg passed away Wednesday, August 27, 2014 in his residence. He was born on February 14, 1951 to Elza Spencer and Ina Mae (King) Spencer.

He is a graduate of Stivers High School and a member of Full Gospel Outreach Church. Bennie retired from Jack Summers Tire Company after 26 years of service. He loved helping people at his church and in his community including working in the church on food pantry day. He was a giver and would give his last dime to someone in need. He enjoyed deer hunting and fishing and spending time with his good friends Roy and Bradley.

Bennie is survived by his wife of 45 years, Doris; daughters, Kim (Wayne) Guthrie of Franklin, Jeanne Spencer of Miamisburg; mother and father-in-law, Floyd and Jane Jetters; sisters, Cleta and Nadine; brothers A.C., Randy, Arnold, Mark; grandchildren, Stephanie, Jessie, Wayne, Gary, William, Ashley; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Kevin Spencer; sister, Thelma; brother, Roger; nephew, David.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Sunday, August 31, 2014 from 5-8 PM at Full Gospel Outreach Church, 6898 Middletown Germantown Road, Middletown, OH. Graveside service will be held at 12 PM Monday, September 1st in the Spencer Cemetery. Services are entrusted to VERNON FUNERAL HOME, Urbana, Ohio.
