Bertha Louise Church, 81 of Urbana, passed away, Monday, November 12, 2012 in Heartland of Urbana, surrounded by her loving family.
She is born December 22, 1930 in Hanging Rock, Ohio the daughter of the late Gladys (Webb) and Lonnie Hannah Sr.
Bertha attended the Mechanicsburg Free Will Baptist Church. She enjoyed working in her flower and vegetable garden and loved spending time with her family.
Her survivors include; Debbie & Mike Preece and Donna & David Howard both of Urbana; Grandchildren, Dawn Hess and special friend Bob, Brian and Angie Minnich, Crystal and Rob Fraizer, Angelia Ferguson and Fiancé Harold Patterson, great grandchildren, Kayla, Taylor and Courtney Hess, Amanda, Haley and Xavier Minnich, Airona Smith, Logan, Sashia and Brianna Ream, Scott and Hannah Fraizer; her brother, Ralph and Nancy Hannah of Springfield, her sisters, Faye and Tim Stradling of Mechanicsburg, Bonnie and Charles Reed of Mississippi, Doris and Ralph Stradling of St. Paris, Peggy and Mike Monteith of Urbana and Maggie (the late Wiley) Risen of Urbana; numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Lunda Church, her daughter, Wilma Jean Church, her brothers, Lonnie Hannah Jr., Robert Eugene Hannah and half brother, George Hannah, her sisters, Jenny Huber and half sister, Dorothy Pack, her grandson, Michael Ferguson and several nieces and nephews.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 in the SKILLMAN, MCDONALD & VERNON Funeral Home, Mechanicsburg. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 15, 2012 in the funeral home with the Pastor Jesse Walters officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery Mechanicsburg; serving as pall bearers, Robert Young, Dean Minnich, Brian Minnich, Steve Huber, Rob Fraizer and Randy Blakely; honorary pall bearers, Mike Preece, David Howard, Harold Patterson and Wes Hess.
