Sincere condolences for Robi, John, Jim and the extended family! Aunt Betty was so caring and polite, loved her dearly! Betty had such a huge, positive impact on my life....always so generous with her time and knowledge! From leaving shopping carts in front of her door while on vacation in Florida or trash talking while playing double bid Euchre against her--she always "played along" and kept smiling!! So many great memories with Betty on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights until 1am-2am playing Euchre---the best of times! Secretly, Betty was a fierce Euchre competitor too, she had a very sharp mind behind that gentle smile. Always partnered with my Grandma Kate. Betty made the best no bake cookies, gave the best advice for a young man, and most importantly loved her family dearly! Betty I love you and will miss you so much!

My favorite teacher of all time...the one who encouraged me to be a writer in the 3rd grade. She will always hold a special place in my heart and her passing is beyond sad news. My condolences to her family, and her fellow students...her “kids” as I was one of them. She was a special soul. Godspeed Mrs. Smith and your family.
