Billy M. McCall, 77, of Urbana passed away Tuesday, July 8, 2014 in his home.
He was born July 9, 1936 in Adams County, Ohio, the son of Oliver and Elma McCall. He served his country in the United States Army. He retired after 30 years of service with Navistar. Billy was a member of the Church of Christ in Christian Union and also the Harmony Lodge #8 F. & A.M.
Billy is survived by his wife; Elizabeth Ann McCall, daughters; Brenda Bonafield of Grafton, Anita (Mark) Futrell of New Carlisle, Sheila (Barry) Ables of Urbana, sons; Stephen (Sarah) McCall of New Carlisle, Bill McCall Jr. of Dayton, grandchildren; Brad (Cathi) McCall, Guy (Elizabeth) Bonafield, Christopher McCall, Shawn McCall, Cynthia McCall, Andy (Lianne) Martin, Erika (Eric) Parker, Jessica (Sarah) Parker, Kyle Baker, Erek (Breonna) Baker, Evan McCall, Randy McCall, Elizabeth Ables, Valarie Ables, and great-grandchildren; Ashley McCall, Johnathan McCall, Oliver Martin, Jacob Bonafield, sister-in-law; Anna McCall and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and brothers; Donald McCall and Wayne McCall.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 1-3 pm on Saturday, July 12, 2014 in the Vernon Funeral Home, Urbana. Masonic services will be held at 3 pm provided by Harmony Lodge #8 F. & A.M. followed by the funeral service with Pastor David VanHoose officiating. Military honors will be provided by American Legion Pearce-Kerns Post #120. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Mercy Hospice, 444 W. Harding Road, Springfield, OH 45504. Dear Aunt Ann and Family,
We are thinking of you during this difficult time and pray the memories will help you through your time of sorrow. My brother’s and I are so Thankful and Grateful that we got a chance to meet and visit with you and Uncle Bill, we’ll cherish that memory forever!!!

We were saddened to learn of Bill’s passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. We will miss Bill at Gateway RV Park. I, Jan, will miss him at our Thursday nights at Bingo.
Ann, we are so sorry to hear about Bill. I just today found his obit while looking at the Urbana Citizen website. Know that we always thought of you both as special people. Our prayers are with you.

We are saddened – he is a loss to a lot of people in the Gateway Park! That is such a good picture of Bill – that is the way we will remember him.
