Wendi Maxhimer - Dec 5, 2017

We live caddie corner from “Grandpa Bill” as he told the kids to call him. As soon as he moved in the kids started talking to him, he was such a sweet man, even looking after our daughter Addison in the mornings when she walked to the bus. He would always talk to the kids when they were playing outside and yelled across the yard. Please know we are just across the street if anyone needs anything. He will be greatly missed by all of the neighbors! Sending our thoughts and prayers to the family.

I am shocked and so very sad to learn of Bills passing. I met and became friends with this wonderful man at the Union Co YMCA. His faith was unyielding as was his belief and support of his family. His devotion to God and country was unmatched and I am so glad to have supported him in his recent trip to Washington DC on Honor Flight, an experience I know he treasured. I will so miss our conversations at the Y over coffee and will keep those close to my heart as treasured memories of Bill.
