Brenda Durand,60 of Urbana passed away, Monday, February 1, 2021 in the Mercy McAuley Center, Urbana.
She was born June 9, 1959 in Urbana, Ohio. She was a 1977 graduate of Mechanicsburg High School.
She is survived by her sons, David and Kellen (Eden) Durand; her grandchildren, Rowen and Elden Durand; an aunt, Betty Boggs as well as several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert (Sara) Hatcher, Lillian (Robert) Wilson and her brother, Robert Hatcher.
Guests are respectfully asked to wear masks and attendance will be monitored to ensure safety for everyone attending.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 4-7 p.m. Friday, February 5, 2021 in the SKILLMAN, MCDONALD & VERNON FUNERAL HOME, Mechanicsburg, Ohio. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 6, 2021 in the funeral home with Pastor Joey Brown officiating.
Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Mutual, Ohio.

I did not personally know Brenda. However I remember her greeting visitors to McAuley when they came to visit residents there. She was always friendly and seemed to never meet a stranger. My condolences to her family.🙏🙏
