Visitation Monday, April 16, 2018 from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM at Skillman, McDonald & Vernon Fun

Calista Mae Hitchcock, 87, of Mechanicsburg, went to be with her Lord Friday, April 13, 2018 in Madison Health Hospital, London.

She was born December 31, 1930 in Catlettsburg, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Walter and Mintie (Jones) Pack.

Calista was a devoted member of Rosedale Baptist Church and she loved the Lord. She was a devoted wife, and loved spending time with her family. As our hearts ache for the physical loss of her, we find solace knowing that she is now with God. She is at peace. And for that, we are grateful.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Darrell Hitchcock, her daughter, Sheila Ann Massie, her son, Rodney (fiancé Beth) Hitchcock; her grandchildren, Chad, Cory, Katie, Candace, Stacey and Emilee, several great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Homer, Hobart, Junior, and Donald Pack & Ollie Pack Epley.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 16, 2018 in the SKILLMAN, McDONALD & VERNON Funeral Home, Mechanicsburg with Rev. Jason Meade officiating. The family will receive friends from 11-1:00 p.m. prior. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Mechanicsburg.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Rosedale Baptist Church, 9700 Rosedale-Milford Center Rd., Irwin, Ohio 43029.

Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.vernonfh.com.

Condolences

Art and Sandy Hitchcock - Apr 14, 2018
Dear Darrell and Family, What a sad day it was yesterday to hear about Cliss. We wish we could be with you all on Monday to remember her. You will have our love and prayers. Cliss was a very special lady. Art has been talking about all of his memories over the years. In our visits to Ohio we always waited to come and sit at your kitchen table to talk and of course have a wonderful meal. We always felt so safe, comfortable and loved. Our love, Art and Sandy
