Samuel "John" and Nancy "Carol" Heminger of West Liberty, Ohio passed away together on Monday, February 22, 2021 in their home.
They were born in Urbana, Ohio; John on August 7, 1946 and Carol on December 25, 1947 and were both graduates of Graham High School. They were married on November 11, 1966. John and Carol enjoyed camping and traveling. But most of all, the loved spending time with their children.
John and Carol are survived by their daughter, Lori (Joe) Rouch; grandchildren, Michael (Hailey) Rouch and Danielle Davis; 3 great grandchildren; Carol's siblings, Dale (Analee) Krebehenne, Ron (Pam) Krebehenne and Ray (Diane) Krebehenne, Cathy (Kenny) Nill, Sharon (Donny) Pence and Pat (Darrell) Rayburn; John's sisters, Mary Jenkins, Lois Ewing and Susan (Lonnie) Landis.
They are preceded in death by their parents, Samuel J. and Helen (Ridder) Heminger Sr. and Ronald and Gladys (Taylor) Krebehenne; their daughter, Amanda Heminger and grandchildren, Wyatt Anthony and Garrett Joseph Rouch.
Guests are respectfully asked to wear masks and attendance will be monitored to ensure safety for everyone attending.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Monday, March 1, 2021 in the VERNON FUNERAL HOME, Urbana, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 2 in the funeral home with Pastor Don Burley officiating.
Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, St. Paris, Ohio.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of Vernon Funeral Home, 235 Miami Street, Urbana, Ohio 43078.
