Charles Pinyerd, 63, of North Lewisburg, Ohio passed away Monday, February 9, 2015 in his home.
He was born January 5, 1952 the son of Floyd and Gertrude (Windle) Pinyerd.
Charles served as a Marine in Vietnam 1969 to 1972. He worked several years for Forum Manufacturing of Milford Center. He served as maintenance manager for 12 years at Marysville Estates. He and Pollie moved to Marion, Ohio and they managed Fountain Place for approximately four years. They returned to Champaign County where Charlie was a true cancer fighter that lasted over 10 years. His strength and love for family will never be forgotten.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Pollie; daughters, Rhea (Bruce) Foughty of Columbus and Jodean Youngquist of North Lewisburg; sons, Charles Pinyerd of Richwood, Ohio and Daniel Pinyerd of Marysville, Ohio; grandchildren, Anthony and PollyAnna Henson, Caleb and Emily Simmons, Nicole Pinyerd, Jordan, Camron and Bethanie Pinyerd; honorary grandchildren, Carter, Dylan, Haylee, Fred, Kyle, Taima, Jerry,Austin, TayLynn and Jerry Jr.; brothers, Floyd Jr (Mary) Pinyerd of Jeremiah, Ky. and David (Georgia)Pinyerd of Waco, Texas; sisters, Shirley (John) Hackley Of Fort Gay, West Virginia, Kathy (Wayne) Trimble of Waco, Texas, and Linda (Norman) Stithem of Urbana; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Charles is preceded in death by his father and mother; brothers, Ricky, Donny, and Johnny, (all as infants); nephew, Ronald McIntire.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, February 12, 2015 in the FRESHWATER, MCDONALD & VERNON Funeral Home, North Lewisburg with Pastor Tony Hansen officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 5-7. Graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.vernonfh.com
