Charlotte A. Ogden, 79 of Urbana, went to be with the Lord, Monday, November 17, 2014 in Vancrest of Urbana.
She was born February 15, 1935 in Delaware County, Ohio. She was a graduate of Prospect High School and attended Circleville Bible College; where she met her husband of 60 years, Rev. Carl Ogden. Charlotte was a talented musician; she played the piano, organ, accordion and the harpsichord. She was a wonderful and loving mother. Most of all she was a devout Christian and her favorite bible verse was Matthew 18:19.
Her survivors include; her husband, her children, Timothy (Janet) Ogden of Enon, Catherine (Alan) Rebert of Springfield, John (Tammy) Ogden of Washington Court House, Joseph (Sherri) Ogden of Mechanicsburg, Andrew Ogden of Urbana and Bruce (Vicki) Sigman of Springfield; her grandchildren, Joel, Emily, Valerie, Olivia, Phillip, Jacob, Amanda, Jessica, Rachael, Daniel, Kayla, Josiah, Abigail and Myea, several great grandchildren; brother, Kirk (Patricia) Reed, sister, Gertrude Freemont, as well as several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Fredrick and Hazel (Kirk) Reed, a grandson, Justin and a sister, Mary Geiger.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 4-6 p.m. on Thursday, November 20, 2014 in the Church of Christ in Christian Union, Urbana. Funeral services will follow with Pastors, Dr. Rev. David VanHoose, Rev. Bruce Sigman and Rev. Mike Grable officiating.
Graveside service will be held 1:30 p.m. on Friday, November 21, 2014 at Hallsville Cemetery, Hallsville, Ohio. Services are entrusted to VERNON FUNERAL HOME, Urbana, Ohio.
