Clyde "Junior" Cupps, 89 of St. Paris, Ohio passed away on Monday, March 29, 2021 in his home surrounded by his loving family.
Clyde was born June 17, 1931 in Urbana, Ohio the son of the late Charles and Stella (Sprinkle) Cupps. Clyde proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He retired from Beach Manufacturing in Donnellsville, Ohio. He was the owner/operator of the Westville Bike shop and will be remembered for the time spent at the Southwest Bowling Center.
Clyde is survived by his wife of 64 years, Catherine Mae Cupps; children, Sonja (Pete) Sells, Jayne Brammer and Tracy (Trenna) Cupps; 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren; sister, Bonnie (John) Chambers as well as several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Dorothy Atchison.
The family would like to thank his wonderful nurses, Kathleen Lavorgna, Rhonda Dunlevy and all the hospice nurses that cared for Clyde.
Guests are respectfully asked to wear masks and attendance will be monitored to ensure safety for everyone attending.
A memorial gathering of friends and family will be held from 4-6 p.m. on Monday, April 5, 2021 in the VERNON FUNERAL HOME, Urbana, Ohio. Following at 6 p.m., military honors will be provided by Pearce Kerns A.L. Post #120.
