Dakota Thomas Jones 22 of Mechanicsburg, passed away Wednesday, November 19, 2008. He was born February 12, 1986 in Springfield, Ohio. Dakota was a 2004 graduate of Mechanicsburg High School. He served his country in the United States Army stationed overseas in Korea. His life touched many and he will always be loved and missed.
He is survived by his parents, John Thomas and Tammy Sue (Ball) Jones of Mechanicsburg; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends, including a special cousin, Andy Prior.
Dakota is preceded in death by his cousin, Clayton Jones.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 1-3 p.m. on Sunday, November 23, 2008 in the SKILLMAN, MCDONALD & VERNON Funeral Home Mechanicsburg; Funeral services will follow at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Clayton Baldwin officiating. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family in Maple Grove Cemetery Mechanicsburg.
