Deborah Zinn Knapke, 64, went to be with the Lord November 14, 2018 at Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy, OH with her family and friends by her side.
Deborah was born on March 18, 1954, in Troy, Ohio, to Everett Orrin and Waneta Mae Zinn. On December 24, 1989, she married the absolute love of her life, Gregg Thomas Knapke.
Deborah's true love was to be with her family. She is survived by her loving parents, Everett and Waneta Zinn, St. Paris, OH; devoted husband Gregg Knapke, St. Paris; her beloved children, Todd Baker, St. Paris and Amber (Matt) Beavers, Springboro, OH and her adored granddaughter Blakely Beavers, Springboro.
Deborah enjoyed a busy career in multiple businesses, as well as her own and her husbands. She was currently employed with Cornerstone Research Group, Inc. in Miamisburg, OH as an Investor Relations Manager.
Deborah lived her life with grace and a love for the Lord and his work. She demonstrated strong faith and compassion for others. Her love was bigger than life. In years prior, she was part of various Christian gospel groups, the last being Tru-Escense, a gospel duo. She attended Redemption Christian Tabernacle on North Dixie Drive in Tipp City, OH under the pastoral care of Todd Hoskins.
Deborah also enjoyed traveling and was blessed to have traveled around the world. She loved cars and often referred to herself as a "Motor Head." She loved music and the arts, whether watching or involved.
Visitation will be Sunday, November 18 from 2 to 5 p.m. at Vernon Family Funeral Home, Urbana, OH and Monday, November 19 from 9 to 11 a.m. at Redemption Christian Tabernacle in Tipp City, OH. There will be a church service immediately following with Pastor Todd Hoskins presiding. Lunch will be provided at the close of the service.
At 2 pm the family will be leaving the church for the procession to New Carlisle Cemetery in New Carlisle, OH.
