I just heard about the horrible accident that took Debbie’s life. I worked with Debbie at Mercy Homecare and helped her start the well-child Clinic. She was such an awesome nurse and awesome person. I always had such incredible respect for her work ethic, intelligence, and sense of mission and purpose. I can’t imagine the grief you are feeling right now for your wife, mom, and grandma. I am so sorry you and the rest of the community lost Debbie at such a young age. I will always remember her and hope to emulate her love of people.

I am so sorry for your loss. I admire Debbie's devotion to the well-being of Champaign County children and their families through her leadership of the Well Child Clinic. While in marketing, communications and grant writing for Mercy, it was my honor and pleasure to have worked with Debbie. She wholeheartedly embraced and practiced the core values of the Sisters of Mercy in everything she did. A great loss for our community. I pray for you in your sorrow. God bless you!

To the Dunham Family. Words can't express the feeling of loss of such a wonderful person. I got to know Debbie as she helped me write grants while teaching at Mechanicsburg. She was a very kind and special person. Barry, I have the utmost respect for you as you are one of the truly great people I've had the opportunity to work with. There's a reason you survived. God has a plan for you. To the children of Barry and Debbie, it's never easy to lose a loved one. Try to remember the good times and make sure you take care of your Dad, I know he's hurting.
