October 19, 1953 - September 26, 2017
Delilah Susan Nance, 63, of West Liberty, passed away on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at home surrounded by her family.
She was born October 19, 1953 in Urbana, Ohio, the daughter of William “Wedge” and Virginia F. (Thornhill) Wynn.
Delilah was a graduate of Triad High School and was employed with Navistar. She enjoyed fishing, golfing, camping and playing games. Delilah was a member of the Moose, VFW, American Legion, and Local 402 Union. She loved playing with her “little sidekick,” her dog, Charlie. Delilah took great pride in her yard and with her garden, but her truest joy was playing with her grandchildren. Her love shined on her family and she always glowed when her family was home with her.
Delilah is survived by her daughter, Wendy R. Nance (Chandy Kaip); her son, Andrew W. (Kathy) Nance; her grandchildren, Dylan & Dakota Nance and Tucker & Finley Kaip; her brothers, Bruce (Tammy) Wynn, Keith (Jacki) Wynn, and Jeff (Robin) Wynn; her sisters, Pam Derr, Jennifer (Jerry) Brehm, Shelia Ruby, Cindy Knotts and Teresa (Dave) Duncan; as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, William “Billy” Wynn and Gary Wynn; and her sisters, Sharon and Amy.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, September 30, 2017 in Woodstock Cemetery with Pastor Bill Moore officiating. Friends and family are welcome to a reception following the service at the Woodstock Free Will Baptist Church, 332 W. Bennett St., Woodstock, OH 43084.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Logan County Cancer Society, 205 Palmer Ave., Bellefontaine, Ohio 43311 or to the Springfield Regional Cancer Center, 148 W. North St., Springfield, Ohio 45504.
Services are entrusted to FRESHWATER, McDONALD & VERNON Funeral Home, North Lewisburg.
