Dianna (Smith) Grim, 58, died peacefully at her home in Urbana, Ohio on May 8th, 2021, after suffering with pancreatic cancer for 7 months.

She attended Graham Local High School. She later earned her GED, which accomplishment made her happy. Her biggest interest was her two children and six grandchildren. She lived her life "one day at a time" which was a saying she often said.

Dianna was born in Urbana, Ohio, October 2, 1962, to Harold Owen Smith and Sue Ellen (Brandeberry) Smith. Proceeding her death are her parents and her only sibling, brother, Mark Owen Smith, a grandson, Logan Gibson and a step-son, Dustin Grim. Surviving are her children, Danny Allen Marcum (Angie) of Fremont, Nebraska and Amy Sue (Marcum) Castle of Urbana; 5 grandchildren: Isaac Marcum, Mariah Marcum, Levi Marcum, Anthony Marcum, and Arianna Marcum; special friend Larry Davis; stepchildren, Danyell (Grim) Swearing and David Grim; 12 step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.

Dianna had been married to Larry Marcum (deceased) of Urbana, Ohio and Wayne Grim (deceased) of Urbana, Ohio.

Guests are respectfully asked to wear masks and attendance will be monitored to ensure safety for everyone attending.

Memorial service to celebrate Dianna's life will be held 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 in the VERNON FUNERAL HOME, Urbana, Ohio. The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service.

Dianna was able to find strength in the most difficult circumstances. She liked to joke, and provide uplifting remarks for those who needed it. "One day at a time" was something I often heard her say. I will miss you, Dianna!!!
