Donnie was a big fan of many TV shows over the years, often taking names of the characters as his own. So over the years, he played using the personas From Starsky and Hutch, to the longest running one - Dukes of Hazard. He was Bo, my brother [Chris] was Luke and back then I was disappointed to be named "Cooter". But now I wear that like a badge of honor. Bo, I hope this message finds you peaceful and well, I'll bring the wrecker and the General Lee will jump the streets of Hazard again. Love and best wishes. Daniel (Dano - Cooter) L. Smith

It saddened me to see that Donnie had passed. I knew Donnie when I worked at a local nursing home. He was a very sweet person who always stopped by my office to talk. I once had a set of dog tags made for him that he seemed to like very much. Condolences to his family. He will be missed.
