Donald Anthony “Tony” Sherman 55 of Mechanicsburg, OH, passed away unexpectedly, Thursday, June 27, 2013.
He was born November 7, 1957 in Urbana, Ohio the son of Bert K. and Janet E. (Davis) Sherman.
Tony was a graduate of Mechanicsburg High School. He served his country in the United States Army. His occupation was a truck driver.
Tony is survived by his father, Bert K. and Diana L. Sherman of Urbana, his brothers, Gary (Laura) Sherman of Texas and John (Toni) Sherman of Mechanicsburg, his sister, Tracy (Jeff) Burns of Texas; his step-brother, Trent (Kerri) Roach of Troy, step-sister, Bonnie Roach of Tipp City, a niece, Nicole Sherman Ralyon; and very special & loved friends, Nicole (George) Shafer, Chris (Bonnie) Herron, Carl Herron and Jeremiah (Amanda) Herron; as well as 3 uncles, 2 aunts, numerous cousins and many friends and other acquaintances.
Tony is preceded by his mother, Janet Sherman and his grandparents.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 3, 2013 in the SKILLMAN, MCDONALD & VERNON Funeral Home, Mechanicsburg with the Rev. Lowell Sherman officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. prior. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Mechanicsburg.
