Earl Campbell, 74 of Urbana, Ohio, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, December 1, 2013 in his home.
He was born June 2, 1939 in Blaine, Kentucky the son of the late Bascom & Ada (Kimbler) Campbell.
Earl was employed by Grimes Manufacturing for 37 years. He was a devoted member of the Mechanicsburg Free Will Baptist Church. He loved spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his loving wife, Anna “Loraine” (Roberts) Campbell, his daughter, Vickie (Terry) Holycross, his son, Dean Campbell all of Urbana; his grandchildren, Robert Earl (fiancee, Harriett) Holycross, Christine (Forrest) Coe, Cassie (Paul) Wilson, Kaitlyn Ann Campbell, great grandchildren, Chloe, Miles, Clair, Layla, Lacy and Serenity; his sisters, Beatrice Castle, Janie (Chick) Bunker of Mt. Gillion, Ohio and Roberta Castle of Paintsville, KY; brothers, Darrell Campbell, Farrell (Numie) Campbell and Harold Campbell all of Paintsville, KY and several nieces & nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Alice Fletcher & Wilma Ball, and brother, William Campbell.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 3-7 p.m. on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 in the VERNON FUNERAL HOME, Urbana, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 5, 2013 in the funeral home with Pastor Jesse Walters. Burial will follow in Fairview Mutual Cemetery.
Serving as pall bearers; Bill Campbell, Josh Campbell, Jeff Van Hoose, Brett Evilsizor, Paul Wilson and Forrest Coe.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Mechanicsburg Freewill Baptist Church, 45 Oakland St., Mechanicsburg, Ohio 43044.

Loraine and family: I know words can not express. We are sadden by Earl But we know that he is in a beautiful and peaceful place called heaven. We know that he is singing in that heavenly choir with family and friends.
