Ella Mozella Sparks was born January 1, 1927 in Wurtland, Kentucky in Greenup County. Ella has two sons, Jerry McClary (Wanda) from Statesboro, Georgia and Ron McClary (Sally) Defiance, Ohio and daughter, Theresa Payton from London, Ohio. Ella has seven grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. Preceded in death were her husbands, Ernest McClary and Walter Sparks, her parents, Anna Boggs and Farris Fraley. Ella has five brothers, Charles Fraley, Clifton Fraley (deceased), Harold Eugene Fraley, Jonas Fraley (deceased), Paul Fraley and sisters, Janie (deceased), Augusta (deceases), Louise (deceased). She was always a wonderful person, daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother. She felt as if God carried her through life and was forever faithful to His word. Ella has been a lifelong member of Rosedale Free Will Baptist Church in Rosedale, Ohio. She loved her family and always loved the little ones. Ella had a very special relationship with her Granddaughter/caregiver, Misti Albanese and great granddaughter Alexis Albanese who spent a lot of time with her. Ella always tried to guide her family in the ways of the Lord. She wanted everyone to know she was a tough old bird.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 4-7 p.m. Monday, October 22, 2018 in the SKILLMAN, McDONALD, and VERNON FUNERAL HOME, Mechanicsburg.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 23, 2018 in the Rosedale Free Will Baptist Church, 9700 Rosedale-Milford Center Rd, Irwin, Ohio with Pastor Wandel Toney officiating.
Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Mechanicsburg.
