Sending our condolences to the Layman family. We were so sorry to be out of town & unable to attend the service/visitation. Elmo was truly a servant to his community. I had the privilege of knowing him through Urbana City Schools and very recently served on the Urbana Community School Board with him. May you find peace in the celebration of his life well lived.

As an Ag student of his at Urbana (class of 1966) I still remember how helpful he always was with me. Over the years I have thought of him often especially when I do my planting.
