Erik Peirson, 46 of Urbana, passed away, Saturday, July 8, 2017 in the OSU Medical Center, Columbus.
He was born March 11, 1971 in Anderson, Indiana. He was employed as a supervisor for Arjo Huntleigh for 15 years. Erik was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, The Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cincinnati Reds. He enjoyed listening to music and was a hard working family man. He loved his wife, his children and his grandchildren and they will greatly miss him.
Erik is survived by his wife of 22 years, Staci Peirson; his mother, Kathy (John) Kuerten; daughters, Kyle (Robert) Jenkins, Taylor (Matthew) McClorey and Danielle Peirson, his grandchildren, Logan, Myles, Maxximus and Ezekiel; his sister, Holly Hanzlik and his nephew, Jack Hanzlik.
He was preceded in death by his father, Kevin M. Peirson and grandmother, Virginia Hertzinger.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 2-4 PM Friday, July 14, 2017 in the VERNON FUNERAL HOME, Urbana, Ohio; where funeral service will follow at 4:00 PM with Pastor Paul Dowdy officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the Vernon Funeral Home, 235 Miami St., Urbana, Ohio 43078.

Erik was a gentle soul. Quick of wit and tongue, well-liked by all! He was not ever afraid to express himself, a good father and husband. He will be sorely missed!
