Ethel Pack, 90, of Mechanicsburg, passed away, Tuesday, July 19, 2011 in her daughter’s home where she resided.
She was born September 3, 1920 in Louisa, Kentucky, the daughter of Harrison and Myrtle (McCarty) Moore. Ethel married Arley Pack in 1936, he preceded her in 1996, she shared 58 wonderful years together.
Ethel enjoyed attending church and was a member of the Wesley Chapel Church, she loved flowers, sewing, canning, and cooking for her family and get-to-gethers.
She is survived by her daughter Bessie Bostick of Urbana, her sons, Russell (Mary A.) Pack, Clyde (Mary F.) Pack both of Mechanicsburg, and Willard (Juanita) Pack of Springfield; 14 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, great great grandchildren; her sisters; Pauline, Ellen Marie, Pearline, Zorrie and Anne.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her brothers; Matthew, Levi, Dave & Wilson and her sisters; Belva & Edith.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 2-5 p.m. on Sunday, July 24, 2011 in the SKILLMAN, MCDONALD & VERNON FUNERAL HOME, Mechanicsburg.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday July 25, 2011 in the funeral home with Pastor Jim Baldwin officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Mutual.
