Frederick H. “Fred” Kemp, 52 of DeGraff, passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday, June 20, 2017 in his home.
Fred was born November 9, 1964 in Petoskey, MI. He was a general contractor and truck driver for many years. He enjoyed fishing, shooting pool and riding his motorcycle. Fred always believed and relied on God; That God had a plan for his life and yours.
He is survived by his wife, Buffy (Jones)Kemp, his mother, Meritta Kemp-Pierce, sons, Joshua W. (Ashley Fannin) Kemp, Charles E. (Megan) Kemp & Clint Kemp, step-son, Robert (Julie Fannin) Bailey; daughter, Tonya S. (Josh Bruggeman) Kemp-Price, step-daughter, Heidi (Jose Morales)Bailey & Courtney (David Diaz) Bailey; sisters, Tina (John) Manning, Susan (Darrel) Stephens, Cindy (Richard) Ryan, Melissa Henry & Amy (Tom) Boeke; 13 grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and friends, including special friends, Dean (Earl) Campbell and Scott Heatherly, as well as his best friend, his dog, Chevyo.
He is preceded in death by his father, Frederick H. Kemp Sr., uncle, Marion “Butch” Kemp, nephew, Caleb M. Ryan and step-father, William Yerkey.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 in the VERNON FUNERAL HOME, Urbana, Ohio; where a service will follow at 7:00 p.m.
