Grover Cleveland Foulk Jr., of Urbana, Ohio, age 89, passed into the arms of God on February 5th, 2016 at his home surrounded by his family. Born April 1, 1926, of Grover C. Foulk Sr. and Esta Adams Foulk in Madison County, Ohio is survived by his wife Marilyn Burnham (Coates Byerly) Foulk and children, Colonel Vincent (Claudia) Foulk, Susan (Gary) Lantz, Rochiel Von Foulk, and Marilyn (Dave) Miller; his grandchildren, Lt. Col. Matthew J. (Melissa) Foulk, Lauren (Brendan) Previte, Kristin (Carmen) Papalia, Vincent (Stephanie) Lantz, Abigail Lantz, Alexandra Lantz, Matthew (Sarah) Yellen, Michael Yellen, Mallory (Nick) Zachrich, David Grover Miller, Marilyn Grant Miller; his great grandchildren Bailey Foulk, Reagan Foulk, Vivienne Lantz, Milo Lantz, Hudson Previte, Elijah Yellen, Caleb Yellen, Levi Zachrich, Wyatt Zachrich, and Molly Zachrich.
Grover was preceded in death by his parents, brothers; Major Eldon K. Foulk, William Foulk and sister Merieum J. Allison.
Grover is a graduate of London High School and The Ohio State University. He was a life member of the OSU Alumni Association, Urbana Lions Club, Past Patron of the Urbana Chapter No.530 Order of the Eastern Star, Master Mason of the Mechanicsburg Masonic Lodge No.113 F and AM and Antioch Shriner Columbus Chapter. He served on the Board of Directors of the Farmers Bank, Mechanicsburg and Citizens Bank, Urbana. He was elected Councilman of the Urbana City Council, Commissioner of Champaign County Commission; appointed member of the Urbana City Zoning Commission, Board member of the Ohio Higher Education Facility Commission; Agriculture Advisor to the Governor’s Ohio Operations Improvement Task Force and Consultant to Brookside Research Lab. He served as a federal agent for the Bureau of Enforcement Drug and Alcohol, Educator at Urbana High School; teaching Industrial Arts, Agriculture Education, FFA Advisor and established the Job Placement Program. Grover was owner operator of Innertec Security Agency, Cirlce B Farms, Darby Down Farms and Folkland Farm. He was a member of the Mechanicsburg Episcopal Church of Our Saviour.
Grover enjoyed woodworking, gardening, ham radio KB8PVX and his family. He will be remembered most for his public service.
A memorial service will be held at 5:00 PM on Saturday, February 13th, 2016 at the Mechanicsburg Episcopal Church of Our Saviour with the Reverend Tim West as celebrant.
Services are entrusted to SKILLMAN, McDONALD & VERNON FUNERAL HOME, Mechanicsburg.

We are so sorry to hear of the passing of Grover. He was such a kind man. We enjoyed our visit with you both last time we visited Ohio. Our birdhouse is a nice memory of you both. Please take care of yourself. Fondly Eileen and Pat Monahan
