Jack Lee Logsdon, 68, of North Lewisburg passed away Saturday, January 2, 2016 in The Ohio State University James Cancer Hospital.
He was born June 21, 1947 in Woodstock. He was a 1965 graduate of Triad High School. Jack served his country in the United States Army in Vietnam. He enjoyed fishing, spending time with his kids, and most of all, spoiling his grandkids.
Jack is survived by his sons, Darren Logsdon of East Liberty and Chad Logsdon of Zanesfield; grandchildren, Jazlyn, Hanna, and Hunter Logsdon; as well as many other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Ellen (Chapman) Logsdon; sisters, Corena Logsdon and Corena “Gram” Mullin; nephew, “Uncle Joe” Kenneth Mullin; niece, Virginia “Bugs” Kracky.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 3-7 p.m. on Wednesday, January 6. 2016 in the FRESHWATER, MCDONALD & VERNON Funeral Home, North Lewisburg. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday in the funeral home with Pastor Jeremy Stout officiating. Burial will follow in Woodstock Cemetery.

So shocked to learn of Jack’s passing. Just started rekindling our friendship. We were in the same graduating class. I would like to send my heartfelt condolences to his children and grand children. Jack was a funny, handsome and great friend. He will be greatly missed.
