Janet Eileen Eagleston Bollack
Janet E. Bollack, on March 27th 2012, she went to join her beloved husband, Bill in God’s embrace. She was born April 15, 1937 in Union County, Ohio to the late Joe and Mildred Eagleston.
On June 12, 1954 she married William Joseph ”Bill” Bollack, who precedes her along with a son William Bollack Jr. She was also preceded by 3 sisters, Joanne, Doris and Betty.
She is survived by her 5 children, Cathy Watkins of North Lewisburg, Anna (Art Sr.) Johnson of Milford Center, Ken ”Pete” (Cindy) Bollack of North Lewisburg, Pat (Bryce) Bollack-Brown of North Lewisburg and Mary (Jeff) Miller of West Mansfield; 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; along with her sisters, Judy and Maxine.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed spending her time crocheting, sewing and working on her crafts. She is remembered by many for baking wonderful cakes and versatility at crafting anything from a pretty photo album to a beautiful wedding dress. Over the years she volunteered with many community groups. She was a long time member of the North Lewisburg Fire Department women’s auxiliary. She was a cancer survivor. She made items and worked with warm up America. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church of North Lewisburg. She was a longtime member of the Rosary Altar Society.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, March 30, 2012 in the FRESHWATER, MCDONALD & VERNON Funeral Home, North Lewisburg; where a Rosary Service will take place 5:30-6:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 31, 2011 in the Immaculate Conception Church with Rev. Larry Gearhart officiating. Burial will take place at Maple Grove Cemetery, North Lewisburg with Brad Watkins, Art Johnson Jr., Joseph Bollack, Luke Miller and Trestin Copenhaver serving as pall bearers.
