Jearldine Lucille (Jerry) Roberts, 73, of Urbana, passed away, Thursday, September 5, 2013 in her residence.
She was born September 2, 1940 in Springfield, Ohio, the daughter of Jearl and Helen (Willmeth) Champ.
Jerry was a 1957 graduate of Northeastern High School. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, cooking and Wednesday nite dinner with her family. Jerry worked in the past as cook at Milner’s Cafe in Urbana.
She is survived by her daughters, Pam (Michael) Tucker of Mechanicsburg, OH, Sondra (James) Rovillo of Titusville, FL, Peggy (Gary) Elberfeld of St. Paris, OH and Wendy Johnson of Springfield, OH; her son, Joseph (Angie) Johnson, Jr. of Springfield, OH; grandchildren, Amy, Rachel, Korie, Michael Jr., Ryan, Amanda, Travis, Kristy, Jessica, Vicky, Beth and Jamaal; 15 great-grandchildren; brother, Earl (Jan) Champ; special friend and father of her children, Joe Johnson, Sr. Springfield, OH; as well as numerous nieces and nephews
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Norm Roberts; brothers, Jearl Jr. and Donnie Champ; sister, Joanne Judy and beloved dog, Casey.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 2-5 pm on Sunday, September 8, 2013 in the SKILLMAN, MCDONALD & VERNON Funeral Home, Mechanicsburg. Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Monday, September 9, 2013 in the funeral home with Rev. Scott Salee officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Mutual.
