I worked closely with John at NiSource on a project to install a new accounting system. Although we ended up in different departments of the company after the project ended, I was glad to see him in the halls and talk about the Browns. He ALWAYS had a smile on his face, even back in the hectic days of installing the accounting system. He will be missed

I worked with John for several years on a project for NiSource. Although I had to travel each week, John always made me feel at home. We shared stories about work, sports, life, especially family. He loved to talk about his wife Sabrena, and children. He was a great human being that I was lucky to have met. I wish to express my heartfelt condolences to his loved ones. May John now rest in peace. Mike Lewandowski

Sabrena, Kate, and Courtney - I am so sorry for your loss, and my heart is just shattered for the three of you. John was one of the best people that I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. I'm going to miss him stopping by my office to shoot the bull about the Reds/Browns, the pigs/pig barn, the 'Berg during HS Football season, or just life in general. It was apparent in the general life talks how much he loved the three of you. He had a knack for offering me fatherly advice without even knowing it, which was a huge help especially when my first born was an infant. I'm going to miss his intelligence, his quick wit, his calming demeanor, amongst many other things. But most of all I'm going to miss his friendship. I consider myself lucky to have known John, and that my path crossed his for so long in life. May God grant you peace in this difficult time.

Jay, Kitten Sabrina & family: Words are so small in a time like this. All I can say is I’m so sorry & a true good person left us Monday August 3rd. Another cousin gone way too soon. Our lives aren’t guaranteed to grow old but enjoy every minute that you have. I truly feel that John enjoyed every moment that he had & this isn’t the end we’ll see you again someday John. And don’t worry Sabrina John has a big enough family support system that your girls will always be looked at physically while John well always be watching over them & he’ll live in there hearts & the rest of our hearts forever. Until I see you again love you John I remember when you were born & I will always hold all the good memories of you forever. Until I see you again. Jesus told her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in me will live, even after dying. John 11:25
