Judy (Cron) Mayo, 80 of Mechanicsburg, passed away Thursday, March 5, 2009 in her daughter’s residence in Springfield. She was born August 20, 1928 in London, Ohio, the daughter of John and Addie (Tatman) Baker.
Judy married John W. “Jack” Mayo on August 15, 1987 in Mechanicsburg. She retired from Ranco Controls of Plain City after 36 years of service.
She is survived by her children, Sandra (Ernie) Blevins of Springfield, sons, Gary (Maggie) Cron of Marysville & Dave Cron of North Lewisburg, 6 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren & 1 great great grandchild, sisters, Dorothy Morrison, Phyllis (Richard) Scott, Shirley (John) Pitts, brothers, Chuck (Jenny) Baker, Fred (Betty) Baker & Bob (Beverly) Baker, her extended family, Dennis (Terri) Mayo, Susan (Keith) Rutan & Linda (Bob) Dozer; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends, including special friends, Ben and Polly Cox.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jack, her granddaughter, Lori Cron and her brothers, Carl, Bill, Earl & Jackie Baker
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 2-6 p.m. on Sunday, March 8, 2009 in the SKILLMAN, MCDONALD & VERNON Funeral Home, Mechanicsburg. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 9, 2009 in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. After the services the family would like to invite family and friends to share in food and fellowship to the Goshen Park.
