Kathy Nott, 69 of Mechanicsburg, passed away, Thursday, October 4, 2012 in Memorial Hospital of Union County.
She was born May 19, 1943 in Rosedale, Ohio the daughter of the late Victor and Virgie (Sparks) Lemaster.
Kathy spent time in her earlier years helping with Mechanicsburg Little League Sports. She enjoyed collecting angels and decorating for Christmas. Kathy loved the outdoors, doing yard work, gardening and especially, spending time at their Chillicothe home.
She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Thomas Nott of Mechanicsburg; her daughters, Sonia Lee ”Lemaster” Legge of Urbana, Hope Michele Nott of Mechanicsburg, Cindy (Michael) Piper of New Carlisle, Debbie (Jim) Moore of Mechanicsburg and Nancy (Bill) Rausch of Bellefontaine; her sons, Thomas A. (Jenni) Nott of Woodstock, John E. Nott of Mechanicsburg. Jesse Allen Brubaker of Dallas, TX and John Franklin Brubaker of New Carlisle; 24 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; brother, Charles ”Popeye” (Linda) Lemaster; sister, Janet ”Lou” (Alfred) Keeler; brother-in-laws, Arnold Ballard, James Rice and Jr. ”Snowden” Hatfield; sister-in-law, Betty Whaley; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Ben E. Anderson; brothers, Paul Whaley and Tommy Lemaster; sisters, Patricia Ballard, Jean Hatfield, Peggy Lemaster and Carmen Rice.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. on Sunday, October 7, 2012 in the Skillman, McDonald & Vernon Funeral Home, Mechanicsburg. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, October 8, 2012 in the funeral home with Pastor Linden Good officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery.
