Kenneth Franklin Hein, 76, of Mechanicsburg, went to be with the Lord Saturday, November 22, 2014 in Mercy Memorial Hospital, Urbana.
He was born February 22, 1938 in Erie, PA the son of the late Herbert and Lillian (Anderson) Hein.
Kenneth served his country in the United States Army. He retired from Yellow Freight. Kenneth attended the Urbana Church of the Nazarene and enjoyed fishing, golfing, reading, and was an avid carpenter.
He is survived by his wife of nearly 50 years, Sandra (Fuchs) Hein; son, Kenneth (Donna) Hein, Jr. of Fayetteville, NC; daughters, Stephanie (Harold) Bannin of Byrdstown, TN and Heather Johnson (Jason Humphrey) of Springfield; grandchildren, Shawna, Kassandra, Tori, Traes, Jewelle, Donbrielle, Kainen, and Jaes; great grandchildren, Logan, Brayden, Sara, Blaise; sister, Helen (Michael) Rose of Erie, PA.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, November 28, 2014 in the Urbana Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Larry Hall officiating. Services are entrusted to Skillman, McDonald & Vernon Funeral Home, Mechanicsburg.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Urbana Church of the Nazarene, 1999 E. St. Rt. 29, Urbana, OH 43078.
