Kenneth Joe Mullin, 74 of Cable, passed gently into the arms of angels, for his journey to his heavenly home on Friday, March 14, 2014 in his residence, surrounded by his family.
He was born August 11, 1939 in Woodstock, Ohio the son of Herbert and Corena (Hackley) Mullin.
Joe was a 1957 graduate of Triad High School. He served his country in the United States Army. Joe worked as a test driver for TRC in East Liberty. He was a member of the Marysville Moose Lodge # 1651, Mechanicsburg Eagles # 3974 and a past member of the Milford Center VFW Post # 3320. Joe enjoyed doing yard work, spending time outdoors; but most of all he enjoyed just hanging out with his brother.
He is survived by his wife, Ruby (Fletcher) Mullin, daughters, Lori (Mullin) Leider of Arizona, Lorri A. (Horn) Cox of Utica, OH, Ruby Diane (Horn) (Gary) Clingerman of West Mansfield, OH, Nyoka L. (Horn) Foor of Urbana, sons, David L. Mullin of Columbus, Gregg (Sherry) Horn, Luke Horn both of Springfield and Kenny (Beth) Horn of North Lewisburg; 19 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; brother, Richard (Barbara) Mullin of Woodstock, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Joe is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Virginia Kratky.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 in the FRESHWATER, MCDONALD & VERNON Funeral Home, North Lewisburg. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 in the funeral home with the Pastor Bill Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Woodstock Cemetery, Woodstock.
