Kenneth Roger "Kenny" Evilsizor, 71, of North Lewisburg, passed away Thursday, October 4, 2018 in the Ohio State University Hospital, Columbus.

He was born January 21, 1947 in Urbana, the oldest of 3 sisters and 1 brother. Kenny was an aircraft mechanic in the United States Navy serving on the USS Kittyhawk during the Vietnam War, and was awarded the Vietnam Service Medal. He was a handyman and jack-of-all-trades when it came to construction. Kenny could build and fix just about anything. He loved animals - especially horses, his mule "Sarah" and his dog "Maddie" - and going to horse shows to watch his daughter and niece. Kenny loved to travel, and treasured time spent in Florida with his brother-in-law, Roger. He was always jolly and loved telling jokes. Kenny's hobbies included hunting and fishing with his son, Jarrod and antique shopping with his wife of 48 years. In his free time, Kenny enjoyed watching Old Westerns and spending time with his grandchildren. Most of all, he will be remembered as a father, husband, grandfather, and brother.

Kenny is survived by his wife, Sandra Sue (Herron) Evilsizor; his mother, Jenny Pauline (Williams) Evilsizor; his daughter, Christy (Jason) Boysel; his son, Jarrod (Jill) Evilsizor; and his several grandchildren, brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews including special niece, Taylor.

He is preceded in death by his father, Paul Roger Evilsizor.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, October 8, 2018 in Oak Dale Cemetery, Urbana with Pastor Jeff Richards officiating.

Services are entrusted to VERNON FUNERAL HOME, Urbana.
