Kristen Ann "Kris" Sanders, 74 of Urbana, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 in Memorial Hospital of Union County.

Kris was born October 6, 1946 in Sidney, Ohio the daughter of the late Charles and Martha (Russell) Evringham. She was a 1964 graduate of Graham High School. Kris was an active member of the Urbana United Methodist Church. She retired as a Branch Manager from Citizens National Bank. Kris was a former Executive Director for the Champaign Arts Council, a member of the Champaign County Memorial Foundation Board and was very active with the Gloria Theater. She was an avid bicyclist and seamstress and participated in the Champaign County 4-H and the State Fair. Kris enjoyed cooking, canning, hunting mushrooms and fishing with her grandchildren. She took her talents and passed them on to her children and grandchildren.

Kris is survived by her husband, Dr. Donald Sanders; children, Chad Burroughs (Melissa K. Mefford), Ty (Heidi) Burroughs, Andy (Angie) Burroughs, Michelle Sanders, David (Mindy) Sanders and Allen (Christie) Sanders; grandchildren, Logan, Ryan, Jake, Kali, Alivia, Jenna, Kasche, Sydney, Carly, Brady, Mallory and Evan; 5 great granddaughters; sisters, Karen (David) Schwarm and Karla (Steve) Jenkins; brother, Dr. Keith (Jean Marie) Evringham as well as several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; late husband, Jim Harmon; grandson, Lucas "Luke" Garrett Whitt and brother, Kent Evringham.

Private services to celebrate her life will be held at the convenience of the family on Saturday, January 9, 2021 with Pastor Jim Lillibridge officiating. In addition, Live Stream will be available on the Urbana United Methodist Church Facebook page starting at 9:45 a.m.

Burial will follow in Spring Grove Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made in Kris's memory to the Gloria Theater, Grand Works Foundation, P.O. Box 38128, Urbana, Ohio 43078.
