Larry Curtis, 77, of North Lewisburg passed away Monday, May 14, 2012 in his residence surround by his family.
He was born May 7, 1935 in Marion, Indiana the son of the late Charles and Nina (Lee) Curtis.
Larry served his country in the United States Navy and worked for nearly 30 years with the United States Postal Service. He loved boating and being on the water.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Victoria (Higginbottom) Curtis; daughters, Tammy Davis (Greg Phillips) of North Lewisburg, Geneva and Russ of Rushsylvania, Kathy (Mike) Comino and Lisa (Greg) Hafley both of Florida; sons, Mark (Diane) Curtis of Florida, Steve Curtis of Florida and Jeff (Erica) Thompson of North Lewisburg; 17 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren; sister, Pat (Kent) Richwine of Indiana; as well as 3 nieces and nephews.
Following Larry’s wishes his body will be cremated. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 19, 2012 in the North Lewisburg United Methodist Church with Pastor Seeyong Lee officiating. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family in Van Buren Cemetery in Van Buren, Indiana.
