Larry Jon Quiram, 60, of Bellefontaine, passed away on July 7, 2016 in a tragic auto accident.
Larry was born November 8, 1955. He grew up in Streator, Illinois. He graduated from High School in 1973 and continued his education at Illinois State University receiving his Masters Degree in History. Larry worked for many companies including Whirlpool, GM, Ford, Mitsubishi, and most recently with Honda of America, located in Anna, Ohio as a production associate. Larry had a passion for history his entire life. He enjoyed educating others about history and was active in studies about Theodore Roosevelt. He was also an enthusiast of reading, trivia, and the advancement of education. Larry was a proper gentleman and would always go out of his way to help someone in need. He lived by the quote of Theodore Roosevelt, Do what you can, with what you have, where you are.
Larry is survived by his soul mate, Anita Morris, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Virginia (Prendergast) Quiram.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 12 to 3 P.M. on Saturday, July 30, 2016 in the VERNON FUNERAL HOME, Urbana, Ohio.
Burial will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Sunday, July 31, 2016 in St. Marys Catholic Cemetery at 914 W. Main St., Streator, Illinois 61364.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association at 31 W. Whipp Road, Dayton, Ohio 45459.

Today I learned of Larry’s passing and, although I have not seen him in years, I have always treasured memories of him. He was a college classmate and a wonderful,funny man. No one ever made us laugh more. I grieve with those who have known and loved him. May you find peace.

Sad to hear of the passing of Larry . He was a good friend that I worked with at Mitsubishi .He was an outstanding person in all aspects .He will be missed .
I am shocked and saddened to hear of Larry’s passing. He and i were very good friends in Streator in our teens. We served together in the Columbian Squires organization and had many wonderful and funny times. My sympathy to you all from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
