Richard “Casey” Latham aka Ricky Bobby, 30, of North Lewisburg, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 20, 2017.
He was born September 11, 1987 in Springfield, Ohio. Casey was a 2006 graduate of Triad High School and Ohio Hi-Point Career Center, and worked with his Dad and brother in commercial fencing. When he wasn’t working, he was always socializing and enjoyed spending time with his friends and their children, whom he loved dearly. He could often be found lending a helping hand to fix a car or work on a construction project. Casey enjoyed watching comedy movies with his family, especially his favorite movie, Talladega Nights. He was playful and a jokester with a great sense of humor, and he always had a quick witted remark or comeback to share. Casey enjoyed watching The Ohio State Buckeyes play football and listening to music. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his parents, Richard Nelson and Jamie Faye (Farquer) Latham; his brother, Ryan Anthony Latham; his maternal grandparents, Paul and Adrienne Hutzel; his paternal grandmother, Shirley Latham; his aunts, Margaret Nolte, Jeri (Brad) Cushman, Jodi Hutzel (Ray Moon) and Patty (Randy) Piper; his uncle, Jimmy (Marsha) Farquer; as well as several cousins and many special friends, including his dogs, Moe and Chloe.
Casey is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Richard Latham and his aunt, Mary Victoria Casto.
Funeral services to celebrate Casey’s life will be held at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 in the FRESHWATER, McDONALD & VERNON Funeral Home, North Lewisburg. The family will receive friends for 1 hour prior to the service from 5-6 PM.
