Lisa A. Karg, 49 of Urbana, passed away, Monday, December 2, 2013 in Springfield Regional Medical Center, following a courageous battle with breast cancer and a brave effort to live a normal life.
She was born June 22, 1964 in Columbus, Ohio and was a 1982 graduate of Urbana High School.
Lisa was employed for 25 years with Urbana Wal Mart as a supervisor. She enjoyed gardening, working with flowers and arts & crafts.
She is survived by her husband whom she married in 2012, Shawn Karg, her father, John W. (Linda) Conkel, her mother, Jean A. (Neace) Conkel all of Urbana, her daughter, Jessica Henry of Urbana, sons, Tyler and Matthew Henry both of Columbus, her sister, Jean M. (Herb) Harmon of Leesburg, OH, her brothers, John W. (Chris) Conkel II of West Jefferson, David Nease of Milwaukee, Steve Nease and Scott Nease both of Gallipolis, numerous nieces and nephews of several generations and her Wal Mart Family.
She is preceded in death by her brother, Timothy Nease.
Memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday, December 6, 2013 in the VERNON FUNERAL HOME, Urbana with Pastor Jesse Walters officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior.

Sorry for your lose. She was awesome lady and she will be missed at Walmarts. She touch alot of people that she worked with out there and she always had a big smile on her face when ever she would see you and talked to you. She was one of a kind a very special loving person !!
I loved Lisa from the first day I met her and always will. I pray that God will hold you close through this sad time
