Lorraine Leigh 87, of Fontana, CA, passed away, Saturday, March 19, 2011 in her home.
She was born Nov. 16, 1923 in Mechanicsburg the daughter of the late John Raymond and Maude (Knox) Moler.
She was a 1941 graduate of Mechanicsburg High School. Lorraine was employed with Ohio Thermometer in Springfield and later for Grimes Manufacturing in Urbana. She enjoyed crocheting, planting flowers and she loved life. Lorraine was a kind and loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband, Willard Leigh, her daughters, Judy (Tim) Millette and Beverly Sinclair-Watson both of Fontana, CA, a step daughter, Denise (Mike) Kemper of Dayton, a step son, Buddy Leigh of Missouri; her grandchildren, Vincent (Cherrie) Chapman, Marcelle Worthen, April Watson, June Watson, Sheila Millette, Frank (Kelly) Millette, Amy Chapman, Mark (Christie) Millette and Nicole Yates; step grandchildren, Matthew (Tricia), Adriane, Sonya (Mike), Angie, Beth Ann (Clarence), Carolyn (Charles), Brett, Kristy, Richard and Harley; several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; her sister, Janice Lucas of Springfield; and numerous nieces and nephews of several generations.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, Emerson “John”, Jack and Donald Moler, her step-son, Brett Leigh and her great grandson Joe William Castle.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 26, 2011 in Maple Grove Cemetery, Mechanicsburg, Ohio with Pastor Forest Dyer officiating.
