Louise Bradley, 94 of Urbana, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, May 4, 2010 in her home.
She was born January 20, 1916 the daughter of the late Maurice and Nellie (Wildman) Loveless.
Louise was a 1934 graduate of Mechanicsburg High School and continued her education at Wittenberg University in Springfield. Louise married her high school sweetheart, Donald Bradley, on July 25, 1939 in Mechanicsburg.
Louise and Donald moved to 101 N. Main Street in Mechanicsburg where they raised their family and were both very involved in the community. She taught for 26 years at Mechanicsburg Elementary School. They then moved to Urbana in 1973 where she lived until her passing. She was a member of the Mechanicsburg United Methodist Church and a 70 year member of the Caroline Chapter #39 Order of the Eastern Star. Louise was also an avid Ohio State University football fan.
She is survived by her daughter, Dianne Bradley (Bruce) Cramer of Ft. Myers, FL; her son-in-law, James Heck of Findley, OH; grandchildren, Lori Violet of Perrysburg, OH, Kristen Heck (Dr. Kaveh) Sajadi of Lexington, KY and Katherine Kramer (Jesse E.) Brown of Crestview, FL; great-grandchildren, Sarah Grace Sajadi, Wiliam Bradley Sajadi, Lyvia Spencer Betz and Rucker Bradley Brown.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Donald Bradley; her daughter, Beth Bradley Heck; her granddaughter, Rani Anne Violet; and her brother, Roger Loveless.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, May 7, 2010 in the SKILLMAN, MCDONALD & VERNON Funeral Home, 257 W. Main St., Mechanicsburg, Ohio 43044; Eastern Star services will be held at 8:00 p.m. following the visitation. Funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 8, 2010 in the Mechanicsburg United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dr. Harley Roston officiating. Burial will follow in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Mechanicsburg.
