LuVaughn “Bonnie” Snyder, 96, of Mutual passed away Sunday, March 13, 2011 in her residence.
She was born August 21, 1914 in Catawba, Ohio the daughter of H. Thurle and Eva Elizabeth (Albright) Perry.
Bonnie retired from Grimes Manufacturing and was an active member of the Grace Mutual United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her daughters, Joan (Alton) Tomlin of Muldoon, TX and Janice (Joe) Coffey of Urbana; sons, Robert (Dorothy) Snyder of Urbana and Roger (Jane) Snyder of London; her grandchildren, Karen Hawkins of Springfield, Sandra (Darrell) Turner of Cable, Ohio, Judy (Rusty) Miller of Springfield, Sheri (Kelley) Boystel of Mingo, Roger T. Snyder of Urbana, Marvin (Melissa) Snyder of Mechanicsburg, Julie Smith of Tucson, AZ, Jeffrey (Kathy) Love of Tucson, AZ, Roni Kay (Frankie) Vallejo of Hereford, TX, Steve (Angie) Snyder of London, David (Wendy) Snyder of Springfield, Gary (Robin) Coffey of Urbana, Jill (Mike) Moore of Springfield, Danny (Heather) Coffey of Beavercreek; 33 great grandchildren and numerous great great grandchildren; sister, Mildred “Midge” Harvey of Urbana; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ralph Snyder, infant son; brother, Homer T. “Bud” (Ferryl) Perry, her sister, Louise (Paul) Charles and Lillian (Grover) Frost, and a brother-in-laws, Earl Burden and Charles Harvey.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, March 17, 2011 in the SKILLMAN, MCDONALD & VERNON Funeral Home, Mechanicsburg. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday in the Grace Mutual United Methodist Church with the Pastor Jeff Love officiating.
Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Mutual.
