Lynn C. Alltop, 62, of Urbana, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2017 in Statesville, North Carolina.


She was born January 18, 1955 in Urbana, Ohio the daughter of Robert A. and Jean (Nichols) Engle.
Lynn was a student at South High School. She worked for many years in retail management. Lynn was a pet lover and enjoyed knitting in her free time. Though our hearts ache for the physical loss of her, we find solace in knowing she is at peace. She is with God, and for that, we are grateful.


Lynn is survived by her husband of over thirty years, Steve; her sons, Chris (Gabe) Pearson of Statesville, North Carolina and Brandon Pearson of Urbana, Ohio; her sister, Beth (John) Easterday of Urbana, Ohio; her aunt, Janet Rockhold of Urbana, Ohio; her 3 grandchildren, Steven, Alex and Aryanna Pearson and several nieces.


She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Roy Engle.


A memorial gathering will be held from 5-7 PM on Friday, March 3, 2017 in the VERNON FUNERAL HOME, Urbana.


Memorial contributions may be made to PAWS Animal Shelter, Urbana.
