Margaret D. Parker, 80 of Urbana, passed away, Thursday, February 18, 2016 in her home with her family by her side.
She was born April 12, 1935 in Urbana, Ohio the daughter of the late Harold Leopard and Bessie Fay (Nichols) Black.
Margaret owned, along with her husband, Richard, Parker’s 1812 House in Urbana for years. She was known as the garage sale and yard sale queen.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Richard Parker and her siblings, Helen and Bobby.
Her survivors include her children and their families; FAY(DAN), her children and grandchildren, Jackie (Chuck), (Emily & Brittany), Steve (Kim), (Michael & Mathew) and Rob (Carter); VICKIE; DIANE (DOUG), her children and grandchildren, Cheryl (Brody & Cassie)( Jayce), Julie (Matt),(Cole & Chandler); PAM (RON), her children and grandchildren, Josh, Billie Jo(Courtney LeighAnn, Symantha & Kaden); 2 sons, their children and grandchildren, Christopher, Elisabeth, Erika, Jessica, Rena (Keena, Luke, Chelsea & Dustin), Jennifer (Kayla & Chase), Mary (Kinley, Addison, Madeline & Melissa), Charlene (Collin, Carson, Chloe & Joseph); NANCY, her son, (Jacob); siblings, Janet (John) and Raymond, as well as several nieces and nephews.
A celebration gathering of family and friends will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, February 26, 2016 in the VERNON FUNERAL HOME, Urbana. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Community Mercy Hospice, 444 W.
