Marilyn K. (Bowshier) Eldridge 67 of Springfield passed away, February 19, 2015 in Springfield Regional Medical Center.
She was born December 13, 1947 in Urbana and was a 1965 graduate of Mechanicsburg High School.
Marilyn worked many years at Grimes Manufacturing and for the last 12 years at Veyance Technologies / Good Year, Marysville.
She enjoyed going to garage sales and flea markets, most of all she loved her dog, Charlie.
She is survived by her children, Charles Todd (Shelley) Sells of Springfield, Shelly K. (Mike) Deters of Coconut Creek, FL and Carrie Sells of Springfield, her grandchildren, Wyatt Sells, Madison Sells, Michael Deters, Dylan McIntosh and Levi Hatfield; her sisters, twin sister, Carolyn (Carl) Foss and Kelly L. Rockhold both of Springfield, several nieces, nephews and a host of friends, including co-workers at Veyance Technologies/Goodyear.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Eldon W. and Mae L. (Jones) Bowshier, a sister, Bonnie Hazlett and a dear cousin, Mark Bowshier.
The family would like to extend their appreciation to the Springfield Cancer Center and the ICU unit at Springfield Regional Medical Center. A special thanks to Rachel and Beth for giving Charlie a new home.
Funeral services will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, February 28, 2015 in the SKILLMAN, MCDONALD & VERNON Funeral home, Mechanicsburg. The family will receive friends 2 hours prior to the services.
Memorial contributions may be made in Marilyn’s memory to the Springfield Regional Canter Center, c/o Cancer Care Outreach Program, 148 W. North Street, Springfield, OH 45504.

So very, very sorry for your loss. I remember Marilyn as a pretty, fun-loving and sweet friend. Didn’t know of the awful situation until I saw the obituary. I always adored you, Marilyn and Bonnie.
