Marylin Lou (Scholz) Green, 73 of Mechanicsburg, went home to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, June 12, 2010 in her home surrounded by her loving family.


She was born September 7, 1936 the daughter of the late Joseph and Cyrilla (Ruhlman) Scholz. Marylin was a 1954 graduate of St. Mary School. She retired from Grimes – Honeywell after 30 + years of service. She was a faithful member of Mechanicsburg Freewill Baptist Church. Everyone should remember our Granny Green; A heart as big as the world; Smile when you see a baby afghan it could have been crocheted by her with Love! She will be missed by all who knew her.


Marylin is survived by her husband of 34 years, Charles E. Green; her children, Lisette (Mark) Watkins of Urbana, Rick (Cindy) Harsh of Conyers, GA, Don (Michele) Harsh of Mechanicsburg, Ted Harsh and Raymond (Pam) Green of Urbana, her grandchildren who loved her dearly, Stacy (Tyson) Cordrey, Sarah Watkins, LeeAnn and Amanda Harsh, Annie, Josh, Jonathan, and Joey Harsh & Dustin (Morgan) Harsh , Michael (Anna) Green; great grandchildren, Cristin Hensley,Derek Green, Wesley Green, Julio Chavez, Phoebe Green, Jerome Cordrey, & Zhane Harsh; her brother, Gene (Cindy) Scholz of Florida, her sister, Judy Caccia of Urbana; her brother-in-law, Ronald (Pauline) Green of Urbana and many other relatives and friends.


She is preceded in death by her parents, an infant son, her brothers, Donald, Ed, Karl, Bob, Russell & Jack, her sister, Sharon and a grandson, Todd Green.


A gathering of family and friends will be held from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 15, 2010 in the SKILLMAN, MCDONALD & VERNON Funeral Home Mechanicsburg. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 16, 2010 in the funeral home with Rev. Jesse Walters officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, Cable, Ohio. Memorial Contributions may be made to Community Mercy Hospice, 444 W. Harding Rd., Springfield, Ohio 45504 or to the Mechanicsburg Freewill Baptist Church, Central Ave., Mechanicsburg, Ohio 43044.
