My deepest sympathies to Matt’s family and friends. I am a member of Matt’s fraternity from Heidelberg. We were crushed by the news of his passing and can imagine the pain felt by those who knew him for years longer than us. He is unforgettable.
I hope you find comfort knowing he was loved by many.

Matt is truly missed by all of us that worked with him at BMW. We worked in the same department for almost 9 years. He was part of our lunch crew and kept us laughing. Always willing to help and loved by all. We miss him every day. He came and hung out with us every day at quitting time so we could chat for a while. Hugs to you all and thank you for raising such a wonderful man and great friend to all....

From the moment I met Matt years ago at Heidelberg, he had a profound affect on me. Over the years, we have shared much laughter, solved the world's problems, and made memories out of the smallest moments. Each time I saw him, my life was made brighter. I will deeply miss our conversations, and his humor and kindness. For those who loved him, you are all of my heart, and I am sending you all strength to get through this enormous loss. Rest in peace, Speedy. XOXO, Clover

I am so sorry for your loss. Matt was an incredible person with an inquisitive mind. I will forever be bonded with him from our trip to India together from long ago - the picture of our little group with USA sweaters on in an airport is one of the few I have kept on my desk as long as I can remember. I look at it often and smile. I'm sure he is smiling down on us now. God bless. Jeff & the Goddard family.

My deepest sympathies to Matt’s family. Matt was a special person that could always make a bad day better. He was always ready to share a story and a laugh. He will be truly missed at BMWFS. He spoke so sweetly of his family, and enjoyed sharing memories with us. It won’t be the same without Matt, but I hope the memories that bring you so much pain right now, will bring you comfort in the near future. He will always be a part of us. Remember tears help in the healing process.

I worked with Matt at BMW Financial Services over the past 9 years. I relied on Matt's reporting skills often and knew that he would figure out a way to get the data I was looking for, no matter how random. I will certainly miss our conversations about so many topics and remember you always. Rest well my friend.
