March 22, 1941 - August 27, 2016
After a lengthy illness, on the day of August 27th, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. in her hour of need, our Lord God took the hand of a cherished member of our family and peacefully led her home.
Myrna Gibson, 75, of Mechanicsburg, was born March 22, 1941 in Urbana, Ohio to Pearl Franklin and Sarah Mabel (Mason) Holland. Myrna was the ninth of fourteen children and was a compassionate person, giving unconditional love to her family.
Myrna is survived by four children, Reb Jr. (Corky and Madelyn), Rebecca Tullis, Randy, Roger (Tammy); Grandchildren, Stephanie (Bob) George, Derrick Gibson, Mindy Gibson, Shad Conley, Ethan Davis, Josh (Kelly) Gibson, Joel (Lige) Gibson, Michael (Sara) Gibson and Abby (Cody) Gibson; Great Grandchildren, Courtney (Brandon Welch) Newsome, Caleb Newsome, Carter Browning, Gabrielle Frost, Jadean Frost, Evan Davis, Graycen Davis, Emmitt Davis, McKenzie Harrigan, Khloe Harrigan, Delaney Bodenmiller, Donovan Gibson, Mya Gibson; Great Great Grandchildren, Sadie Welch and Cadileana Frost; Sister, Sandra (Bill) Glidden.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband of 60 years, Reb (Jack) Gibson; granddaughter, Amelie Gibson; Grandson Benjamin Davis; son in-law John Tullis; and SIBLINGS.
The family would like to thank Universal Hospice for the wonderful care they provided Myrna, and would like to especially mention and thank Susie and Cathy.
Funeral service will be held at 4:00 pm on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 in the SKILLMAN, MCDONALD & VERNON Funeral Home, Mechanicsburg, with Brother Harold Van Hoose officiating. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service from 2:00-4:00 pm at the funeral home.
Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Mechanicsburg. The family would like to invite friends to a reception following the cemetery services at 114 Lynn Street.

Heaven received another great angel she was an amazing person and was loved by so many. I am glad to have known her and have spent a little time with her. My heart breaks for all of you. Sorry I can’t be there but know we are thinking of you hugs and love to all.
